Borrisoleigh Senior Hurler Dan McCormack says a lack of experience within the squad of not having previously played an All-Ireland Club Final won’t have too much of an effect in today’s (Sunday) showdown against Ballyhale Shamrocks.
Speaking ahead of today’s game, Dan says that the squad having up gone up to Croke Park last weekend to familiarize themselves with the venue is a help.
He says “As the year is going on, we are kind of getting a lot of experience in different situations that we wouldn’t have been used to before this year”.
“Even going back to the County Final this year in Tipperary like, we would have been outsiders again and we came through it so I think it’s going to have too much of an effect, we were up last Saturday, we got a puck around the field we got a nice feel for what the place look’s like and how it feels so I don’t think it’s going to make a massive difference”.
