We’ll have LIVE commentary of the game with thanks to Declan Byrne & Sons Expert Hardware and Timber Sales, Sleaty Street, Carlow.

Carlow Under-21 hurling selector Robbie Foley says that their close encounter against Laois will greatly benefit them ahead of tonight’s (Thursday’s) Leinster Under-21 Semi-Final clash at home to Offaly.

Speaking to KCLR, Robbie says the challenge that Laois will serve them well ahead of tonight’s test……..

“Ah yeah. A big challenge. Offaly a great traditional hurling team”

“We played them before in a practice match and they are a big strong team and they will be looking to win it as much as we will”

“We will give it our best shot anyway. Listen, you would be as well playing games like against Laois and the big boys like that to improve your hurling anyway than going out and playing a weaker county, and winning it handy would be of no benefit to nobody anyway”

Get to NCP tonight and support our lads👍🏼🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳 pic.twitter.com/A3ByII6OVV
