Laois Senior Hurling Manager Eddie Brennan says tonight’s National League clash between Laois and Carlow was always most likely to have a significant amount at stake.
The losers of tonight’s game will almost certainly be playing a Division 1 relegation Final most likely against Westmeath, Eddie says tonight’s game is all about getting to do battle for such a crucial contest.
He said “You would say look, this was the match that probably a lot of people would have looked at and say that this was a scrap for possibly a relegation final spot, but yeah look such is the way it has unraveled and it is a case of just getting your house in order and getting ready to do battle and that’s it”.
