Carlow Senior Hurling manager Colm Bonnar says that Wicklow have every right to feel confident of upsetting them in Saturday’s Christy Ring Cup Semi-Final.

Speaking to KCLR, Colm says that Wicklow’s victory over Kildare gives them greater belief of causing another upset.

“If anything it has given them more believe in themselves. They have only been beaten twice since they started hurling. They were beaten in their Division final by Meath and Meath are actually playing a Division above us in the round robin and they have beaten two Division 2 Teams at the moment.

“They have beaten London, they have beaten Kildare and they have no fear of us. They went to Kildare and beat Kildare above in Kildare so coming down to Carlow playing in their own patch won’t faze them either so if anything it might motivate them even more.”
