KCLR analyst Michael Walsh says that it’s crazy having the All-Ireland Qualifier draw just 5 days before the matches take place next Saturday.

Speaking to KCLR after the draw was made this morning, Michael says Kilkenny will have to be at their best to emerge victorious.

“Limerick have a good team. They didn’t play very well against Clare. They still will be a threat and Kilkenny will have to be at their best to get through that game, I have no doubt about that. I am sure they will, but it will be a tough game.

“The draw itself taking place today was crazy stuff in my mind and there is a thing about venues. Some people think that first team out is at home, if that’s the case that will be an advantage to Kilkenny because they certainly don’t want to be going down to Limerick anyway.

“Limerick will be decent, Kilkenny have hopefully worked hard over the last couple of weeks and they will be back to their best as well.”
