St. Mullins Senior hurling manager PJ Delaney says having the Inter-County players returning has boosted morale in training ahead of Sunday evening’s season opener against Naomh Eoin Myshall.
Speaking to KCLR, PJ says the level of intensity has increased in recent weeks.
“We have upped the ante in the last couple of weeks in particular and we had a good pre-season as well so all in all, looking forward to the match now.
“It’s (norale) good, like anytime you get lads back into that panel, it’s going to improve it so and the lads are coming back. They are good triers and they are good hurlers as well so it’s been a boost to us. Obviously yes, they are obviously talented hurlers and that improves training and obviously the bit of training is the bit of morale is,” said Delaney.
