Carlow Senior hurler Chris Nolan says his disallowed goal in yesterday’s defeat to Westmeath could have a massive effect in the overall standings of the League.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s game, Chris says the umpires decision making left a lot to be desired.
“It was a perfectly good goal if I am been honest with you, that’s the hard thing to take but sure what can you say or do about it now, that’s not going to change anything, but it’s frustrating alright.
“The Westmeath players didn’t even kick up much of a fuss, I don’t really know like, the referee didn’t even call it, I don’t even know if the umpires are even allowed to call that.
“It had a massive bearing on the game, and it could have a massive bearing on the League the way things turn out, but it was a massive turning point, but what can you do only pick yourselves up again and go again,” he said.
