Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager Anne Downey says the heartbreak of losing the last two All-Ireland Finals by a point to Cork has no relevance to Sunday’s decider against Galway.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s showdown, Anne says that what was happened the last two years is irrelevant as they attempt to regain the O’Duffy Cup.
She said “What has gone before us in 2017 and 2018 actually has no bearing as to what is going to happen in 2019”.
“I suppose the girls have looked at it a long time ago, have put it to bed and hopefully learned from it, but this is a new set-up, a new management in place and a new panel so it’s completely different from the past two years”.
