St. Patricks Athletic Striker Mikey Drennan says it’s fantastic for Kilkenny natives to be doing well Cross-Channel in what is a predominantly Hurling County.
Speaking to KCLR, Mikey says the success for the local players augurs well for future players from the county to keep coming through.
He said “It’s fantastic to see people from Kilkenny doing well and that and hopefully there can be more”.
“As we can see Sean Maguire over in England doing well and you have Gavin (Holohan) over there in England, so look it’s fantastic for Kilkenny as well especially with it been a hurling county so look, it’s just fantastic and hopefully we can keep getting players through and sure look, all we can do is keep working hard”.
