St. Patricks Athletic Striker Mikey Drennan admits that it’s up to himself to improve his goal scoring ratio after a less than convincing first half of the season.
Speaking to KCLR as the League of Ireland resumes this weekend after a mid-season break, Mikey says he needs to take more responsibility.
He said “I am probably not getting as much chances as I want, but I suppose that is probably up to me to maybe create my own chances and that and maybe kind of take the onus on myself rather than relying on other people to supply me”.
“That’s what I probably need to do and I haven’t performed too badly, I am creating a lot of chances for other people as well so it’s just not scoring like and I still haven’t played to what I want and hopefully the second half of the season that will happen”.
