Minor Hurling and football championship intercounty fixtures drawn

Leinster GAA club championship fixtures for the coming weekend

The draw for the Bord Gais Leinster GAA U20 Hurling Championship and both the Electric Ireland football and hurling championships Leinster GAA Minor Championships took place last night.

Firstly dealing with the u20 Hurling Championship. Carlow will go up against neighbour’s Laois in round one. The winners of that game will progress to the semi finals, where Galway awaits. If Carlow can then progress to the semi finals, they will face Kilkenny. Wexford wait for either Antrim/Down (to be played), Dublin, Offaly and Westmeath to meet them in the semi’s. All Fixture Details and Venues To Be Confirmed at a later date.

Sticking with hurling this time the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Draw. Antrim, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Offaly and Westmeath had their fate set in Round 1. Carlow clash with Westmeath with the winners progressing to the quarters to face Dublin. Last years finalists Kilkenny and Wexford joined the draw at the Semi Final Stages, they will face each other for a chance to progress to the final.

Finally the draw for the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Draw seen Dublin, Longford, Louth, Meath, Wexford and Wicklow in Round 1. These were joined by Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Offaly and Westmeath in the Quarter Final Draw. Laois take on Carlow in the quarters, with the winners facing eith Dublin, Meath or Westmeath in the semi finals.
