Kilkenny Senior Camogie Forward Miriam Walsh says Sunday’s League Final victory over Cork was only a stepping stone after losing last years All-Ireland Final by a point.

Speaking to KCLR after the game on Sunday, Miriam says they have plenty to work on in the weeks and months ahead.

“I suppose we laid down a marker, but it’s not over yet. It’s only a stepping stone and we will keep on improving our game to get to Croke Park in September.

“There is room to improve, I suppose Ann Downey and all will have us shooting non-stop in training in the coming few weeks and we have a good bit to work, but sure that is something to look forward to as well,” she said.
