The Tullow Ladies team and Old Belvedere put on a super performance in the Paul Flood Semi-Final at the Black Gates on Sunday.

It was Old Belvedere that came out on top though after extra time was played.

The sides drew 10-10 at the full-time whistle, so the match went into extra time and in the final ten minutes, both sides managed to score super tries and convert the conversions, however, Old Belvo got the final say, getting a last-minute try to make to the final.

It finished up Tullow 17 – Old Belvedere 22.

Tullow Rugby Club hosts the finals on Saturday the 25th of September.

Senior Men

The Tullow fellas got their Leinster League campaign off to a winning start at home with a 23-13 win over Mullingar.

They also said they had big numbers turning up to training too which is a positive at the start of a campaign.
