Carlow Senior Football manager Turlough O’Brien says preparations and morale have picked up since the all-time low of losing at home to London.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday evening’s game at home to Limerick, Turlough says they put the disappointment of their last game behind them……

“Well look, I suppose to be honest, the first couple of days were extremely disappointing for everybody”

“The players were at an all time low I would say coming out of the game, and it took maybe 48 hours maybe to get over it because it was a performance we didn’t see coming, and we really expected to win that game but we have to give credit to London too”

“They played very well in the first-half and we made a lot of unforced errors and unfortunately made it hard for ourselves and we paid the price, but look it’s picked up since, it’s picked up very well since actually and we are looking forward to the weekend now against Limerick”

We have LIVE commentary of the Carlow V Limerick game with thanks to Flynns Carlow Nissan.
