Mount Leinster Rangers confirmed their semi-final place in the knockout stages of the Carlow Senior Hurling Championship last weekend after they defeated Naomh Eoin in Netwatch Cullen Park on a scoreline of 2-17 to 0-14.
It marks three out three for the county champions despite missing players through holidays and injuries.

The league will take a two-week break now but Speaking to Scoreline, manager Paul O’Brien was keen to heap praise on the young men on his panel.
“Tadgh Doran is going well, Evan Keealy is going well.”
“It is great the young lads are coming in, they are bringing good energy to the panel and good energy to training. It is good to have that situation where there is plenty of fella’s pushing on. it makes for a real competitive environment.”
“We have Naomh Brid in two weeks’ time, we will take a small break. We will get a bit of work done and build towards that.”
Tonight Mount Leinster Rangers will be in action again, this time in the form of the Stryve Under 20 Hurling Championship.
They will take on St. Mullins from half seven while Balinkillen is at home to Bagnelstown Gaels.
