He’s not as hungry as me – words from Myles Price at the Brave 13 open workouts on Thursday afternoon.
With temperatures rising in Belfast, a selection of the main card fights for Brave 13: European Evolution went through the motions at St. Anne’s Square yesterday (Thursday).
Among them, Kilkenny’s ‘Magic’ Myles Price, who’s working this week with his brother Lorcan alongside Tullow native Kilian Doyle for his final fight preparations.

When asked what had changed stylistically for Price in the eight years since he last fought Parke, he came out with a driven response.
“You can expect a lot, to be honest with you. You’re going to change in 8 years. No matter what. I work hard, I evolve. I’m smart. My IQ has gone through the roof”, said Price at St. Anne’s Square in Belfast on Thursday.
“Norman is basically somewhat of a better version to what he was eight years ago.”
“I know what he’s going to do. I hope he stands and tries to trade with me because I love a good stand up war, I love it. But, he can go wherever he wants. I respect Norman, he’s a great fighter but he’s not as hungry as me.”
“In the promo he says it’s all about the money for me, but that’s hardly it as I’m getting paid fuck all (laughter).”
“It’s all about the money for him more like it.”
“I’m in there because I love it, I’m happy, and that’s why I’m dangerous. Bring it – no matter what.”
Both fighters will bring it this Saturday night in the co-main event for Brave 13. Saturday’s fight card is headlined by SBG’s Frans Mlambo facing Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman for the Brave Bantamweight title.
Gates open at 4pm with first fight scheduled for 5pm. There are 14 fights scheduled for Saturday night at Belfast’s SSE Arena. Check the fight card here and pick up the last of the tickets via local ticketmaster outlets or ticketmaster.ie.
