Naas Rugby Club Head Coach Dan Van Zyl says that Tullow were one of the teams they wanted to avoid at this stage of the Provincial Towns Cup.
The two teams clash in the Last 16 of the competition on sunday afternoon and speaking to KCLR, the South African native says that Tullow have been playing at a high standard this season.
He said “Ah definitely, these two teams that we didn’t want to meet this early in the competition and that was Tullow and Ashbourne, they are the two teams that has probably got the history over the last number of years and has done really well so and Maurice (Logue) the Tullow Coach is a good friend of mine, they play some excellent Rugby, second in Division 1B which is a strong division”.
