National Hunt season begins again in Gowran Park tomorrow

Winter jumps are back with two days of cracking racing this weekend scheduled for Gowran Park.

The National Hunt season begins in Gowran Park again with two bumper days set to be on show.

Action on Friday has the likes of the Pat Walsh Memorial Irish EBF Mares Hurdle & The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mucklemeg Mares Flat Race. Both races have €30,000 up for grabs

Saturday’s offers some great races such as the PWC Grade 2 Champion Chase where Willie Mullins trained Arkle & Queen Mother winner Put The Kettle On looking to take on Henry DeBromhead’s Galway Plate winner Royal Rendezvous.

Gowran Park race manager Eddie Scally said;

“We are delighted that the jumps racing is back at Gowran with our PWC Champion Chase weekend starting Friday with some brilliant racing both days. We are just so excited for what will be such an exciting couple of days.”

This is an all ticket event with tickets available at gowranpark.ie

First Race begins at 1.35pm on Friday & on Saturday the first race is at 1pm.
