Carlow made light work of Wicklow in Bray Emmetts on Saturday to book their place in the semi-finals of the VERY Camogie League Division 3A.
Ciara Kavanagh, Rebecca Kelly and Éibhe Lawler hit the back of the net in the first half to give Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere’s side a comfortable 3-11 to 0-04 lead going into the break.
Carlow kept the pressure up on their hosts right across the second half, tacking on another 2-13 while restricting Wicklow to a single score to run out 5-24 to 0-04 winners.
With Roscommon condemning Louth to a 3-21 to 0-03 defeat and Carlow maintaining a 100% record in the league with three wins from three, they will now play Kildare in the Division 3A semi-final. For their part in Group A, Kildare finished strong with a 2-09 to 1-06 win away to Mayo while Armagh beat Tyrone 3-15 to 1-04.
Venue and throw-in times are to be confirmed for the semi-final stages.
