Brian Cody has described Saturday night’s clash under floodlights against Tipperary in Semple Stadium as a terrific challenge against the top team in the country.

The clash takes place under lights at 7pm.

Speaking after Sunday’s victory over Cork, Brian says there will be no hiding place on Saturday night….

“Oh look, it’s better going with two points than with no points, but I mean we are playing the All-Ireland Champions the best team in the country right now”

“Playing a team obviously playing with huge confidence and understandably so because they are a top team, but look it’s a terrific challenge for everybody, everybody concerned with the team”

“There is no hiding place up there for sure so look, we are happy enough walking away with two points (after Cork game), we will see where we are after next Saturday night”

We have live commentary of the game with thanks to Country Style Foods, Grannagh, Kilmacow, Kilkenny. “As local as it gets”.
