Kilkenny Sport Star Awards Nominations

With another month behind us and a summer of sport championship action hurtling towards a close, it’s time to open the nominations for the June round of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award.

Congratulations again to Thomastown United’s U17 side, crowned May winners of our monthly award. We’re a few weeks away yet from looking at club hurling, football and camogie in more detail but if you’ve seen someone deserving of a nomination from any sporting background over the month of June, then we’d love to hear from you.

From footgolf to racing, basketball to underage soccer, athletics to boxing and beyond, not to mention a wealth of intercounty camogie and hurling, June was a busy month in Kilkenny and now is your chance to nominate in individual or team for their efforts on or off the field of play. Submit yours before midnight this coming Saturday 8 July and we’ll be announcing the winner on Monday morning (10 July).
