Two-time All Ireland winner with Offaly, Michael Duignan says he’s been very impressed with how Kilkenny man Michael Fennelly is managing the Offaly hurlers.
The Ballyhale Shamrocks man took charge of the side a few years ago and will hope to bring them back up near the heights they reached in the past.
Speaking to The Clash Act Podcast here on Scoreline. ie, Michael says it’s going to a tough job but he has faith in Fennelly.
“Michael is there with an unbelievably young squad, there are obviously more experienced players, they’re very passionate about what they’re doing in representing Offaly and there’s a process involved in that,” said Duignan.
“It’s not just going to happen, they’re going to have to build, and that’s what I’ve been impressed about with Michael, his overall view, his overall understanding of all of these players as individuals and the individual work to be done with them and bringing them together collectively.
