Eire Og corner back Richie Mahon says credit needs to go to the whole team for the effort they’ve put in this season to get to where they are.
They face Ballyboden St Endas in the Leinster Senior Final on Sunday.
Eire Og have been getting lots of praise for their defence but Richie says its the whole team working together….
He said “I suppose it’s very easy to give us the credit, the six backs or whatever, the two midfielders and our half forward line and event the full forward, our defence starts with number 15 all the way back”.
“The work rate that the lads get through at the other end of the field is unbelievable and we see lads turning over ball, like Quinlan, Blake, Cormac Mullins, any of those lads, Darragh O’Brien gets through a ferocious amount of work”.
