Newport County Striker Padraic Amond feels there is no reason why they can’t upset the odds and knock Tottenham Hotspur out of the FA Cup.

Padraic was goalscorer in the drawn match of the 4th round clash on Saturday which ended 1-1 and speaking to KCLR yesterday evening, the Ballinabrana native, Padraic thinks that Tottenham’s upcoming hectic fixture schedule could count against them….

“We are taking a lot of believe from the game that we can go there and win the game. No one gave us a chance going into the game”

“They have a lot of big games, they play I think it’s Man United Wednesday, Arsenal, Liverpool, us, and then Juventus”

“We are sandwiched in between those games, I don’t know whether they are going to play as strong a team as they did the other day, or they might look at it and think that this is their best chance of a trophy this year, well we caught them on the hop Saturday maybe, but we are going there and we believe we can get a result if we put in as much effort as we did the other night and get a little bit of luck”
