It’s hurling under the lights this Saturday for Kilkenny as Cork welcome the Cats to Pairc Úi Chaoimh with a place in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 final at stake.

The CCCC confirmed Kilkenny’s semi-final details on Monday evening.

Waterford and Wexford will contest the other semi-final, with Kilkenny’s UPMC Nowlan Park serving as the neutral venue.

As things stands, it’s

  • Saturday: Cork v Kilkenny, Pairc Uí Chaoimh, 7.15pm
  • Sunday: Waterford v Wexford, UPMC Nowlan Park, 3.45pm

The winners head to Croke Park on 2/3 April for the Division 1 league final. All other hurling league and football finals are to be played the same weekend.

Kilkenny booked their place in this weekend’s meeting with Cork thanks to a 2-21 to 0-21 defeat of Waterford at UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday.

The game saw a number of strong Kilkenny performances with four players winding up on the GAA.ie Team of the Week.
