Danesfort clubman and 2015 All-Star recipient Paul Murphy is clearly in a festive mood as part of the 2014/15 All-Star panel that jetted out to Texas earlier this week.

Hope I dont become one of those players like @jjdel82 who forgets he's retired and turns up for all star trip! #Jeff pic.twitter.com/THNm8qndnE

No fewer than nine Kilkenny current and former hurlers are in the Lone Star State for a week, Liam McCarthy in tow, with Kilkenny players Joey Holden, Cillian Buckley, Michael Fennelly, Colin Fennelly, Ger Aylward and Richie Hogan joining Murphy as part of the 28-man panel in the US.

Murphy’s Danesfort clubmate Richie Hogan was feeling the brunt of the jokes event before the plane had touched down in Texas.

This Saturday has the All-Stars involved in a Kids Skills Clinic with a Gaelic Sports Appreciation Night happening in the Fado Irish Pub on Saturday evening at 6.30pm before Sunday’s All-Star exhibition game at St. Edward’s University.
