Ollie O’Neill says that all the good work that Michael O’Reilly’s club Coach in Portlaoise has done has gone out the window.

Michael O’Reilly may face up to a 5-year-ban from the sport having been sent home from the Rio Olympics, and speaking to KCLR, Ollie says that the Boxers actions were both disappointing and surprising…..

“There is no way he should have taken anything, the high performance are very highly educated, all the boxers are”

“Jimmy Walsh in Callan won’t let Clare Grace in, I certainly wouldn’t let Darren O’Neill in taking anything without I knowing anything, so I am very very surprised with Michael O’Reilly now”

“Disappointed to the fact that he has let down all his teammates on the team, and his club trainer Pat Ryan who is obviously president of the IABA”

“I am very very disappointed for Pat Ryan. He’s put a lot of work into Michael O’Reilly and now it’s gone out the window”
