They won it in 2013, they lost out to Ballyhale Shamrocks in 2014 and for 2015, Clara are once more Kilkenny’s senior hurling championships, seeing off city challengers O’Loughlin Gaels 2-11 to 1-12 at Nowlan Park on Sunday 25 October.

In what was a tightly contested affair, the sides were level at 1-09 apiece going in at the break, the word ‘replay’ creeping across a lot of lips near the press box as the sides went point-for-point throughout the first half.

A second half Clara goal provided a three point cushion that was closed to within two points but ultimately remained the difference at the end, thanks also in large part to some strong, late, defending from Clara.

You’ll be able to listen back to the full commentary for the game from Tuesday morning, but in the mean time here’s a selection of photo highlights from the 2015 St. Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship Final.
