Kilkenny’s 2015 senior hurling champions Clara take to Parnell Park, Dublin, this weekend to face Dublin champions Cuala at 2pm this Sunday. We’ll have full commentary and analysis on air Sunday afternoon with Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh.

When asked about Clara’s preparations for this weekend Clara’s Mick Purcell Purcell offered

“We’re alright. We had to celebrate the win in Kilkenny but luckily we’ve had three weeks to get ready for it so. We trained fairly well last week, trying to take it easy this week to get ready for the game on Sunday.

Clara fell out of the Leinster club championships at the first hurdle in 2013 a week after winning the Kilkenny county final but championship form in Kilkenny this season looks to have left Clara with more of an edge for 2015.

With the delays experienced in the Dublin championships, perhaps the rest too has given them an added bonus.

Those questions were put to Cuala selector JP Byrne and Clara’s Mick Purcell for the way it is ahead of Sunday’s semi-final fixture. Listen below for the full interview.
