Rathvilly made it three from three in the Carlow senior football championship at the weekend defeating Ballinabranna 2-10 to 7 points.

The table-toppers now have a rest next weekend with manager Pat Ryan saying that gives them time to address any weaknesses or issues.

“At the end of the day, it’s so important to have the right attitude, if you start off with the wrong attitude it’s very hard to reverse along the way”, said Pat.

“We’ll address some of our plans going forward, and it’s all about just inching forward and we’ll address some of our failings, things that we need to improve on and we’ll just keep doing that and that’s all we can do” he added.

There are four games on in the championship this weekend.

Friday 15th October – Eire Og v Tinryland at 8.15 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park (Live on KCLR and Scoreline)

Saturday 16th October – Bagenalstown Gaels v Ballinabranna at 7.45 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park (Live on KCLR and Scoreline)

Sunday 17th October – Palatine v O’Hanrahans at 2.30 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park.

Sunday 17th October – Mount Leinster Rangers v Old Leighlin at 4.15 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park.
