For the ninth time, Ballyhale Shamrocks are All-Ireland Hurling Club Champions.
They faced a tough test against the Ulster champions Dunloy in Croke Park Sunday, with both sides trading scores for long periods in the game.

Pat Hoban’s side finally managed to pull ahead towards the end and ultimately won on a scoreline of 1-22 to 1-15. Seven of those scores came from TJ Reid to bring his tally for the Championship to 2-35.
Speaking to Scoreline pitchside after the game, Reid, who now has won 6 titles with the club, a change of tactics helped Shamrocks excel towards the end of the game.

“They made it very difficult for us, they had a sweeper, numbers back. They run the ball from defence.”
“Then our half-backs push up a small bit, we got the overlaps then. In the first half, Paddy Mullen and the boys were hitting balls for 80 or 90 yards back. it wasn’t really working.”
“We thought we might get a few balls into Colin (Fennelly), we could of having one or two goals chances.”
“But to be back here, redemption is sweet.”
