O’Loughlin Gaels Senior Hurling Manager Niall Bergin says that the Inter-County players returning has given the club players a huge boost.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) Senior League clash against Bennettsbridge, Niall says the County players are maintaining great enthusiasm despite the disappointment of the All-Ireland defeat.
He said “In terms of the All-Ireland Final, first of all, it was fantastic that both teams were involved in an All-Ireland and that both teams went out to win, they didn’t win but from the club perspective, we are delighted that the lads are back to us”.
“I am sure every club is the exact same, and when the lads come back, they give training, they give all the players, all the club players a lift, and I am sure the lads from just talking to them ,they are really looking forward to going out and lining out with their clubs”.
