Fair play to Richie Hogan.

When it was announced last night that Dublin would be playing their first championship fixture out of the capital in ten years time, 2014’s Hurler of the Year stepped in to offer directions.

@bernardbrogan @jackmcc93 @PhillyMcMahon Just head down the M9, take exit for KK! No traffic lights, just give way to cows crossin👍🏻 #npark

Saturday June 4 sees Nowlan Park play host to Dublin’s senior footballers in their first Leinster championship fixture of 2016, with Kilkenny playing away themselves for the hurling semi-final the following weekend.

Ballymun Kickhams’ Philly McMahon was wondering if they’ll need to bring a few weapons with them – we reckon the boots will be enough.

@jackmcc93 @richiehogan8 @bernardbrogan do we need sticks, I think there called hurls or something😂 #weapons
