Tipperary Senior Hurling manager Michael Ryan says he is very happy despite losing to Kilkenny.
Speaking after the game, Michael says they can take plenty of positives from the game.
“We are not going home disappointed about anything, other than we didn’t win.
“The boys played well, we got an incredible test here from Kilkenny. But I thought the boys stood up to it very well.
“We got a huge setback with two quick 2nd half goals and I think we could have been 7 points behind at that point in time and to go and claw that back and get ourselves into a good position again to try and win this game was good
“I suppose the big thing for us is you couldn’t buy that experience, and it’s a fabulous experience for any of our players who hadn’t experienced playing down in Nowlan Park and playing Kilkenny,” he said.
