Windgap has not won a junior final since 1986 and have not been in the final since 2001, so it will be a special occasion for them, speaking to Scoreline manager Pat Robinson seemed to have confidence in his system and squad since the start of the season;
“We knew what we had all year, it was just a matter of sorting out our way of playing and lads buying into that.”
“It is just having our way of playing, sticking to it, lads believing in it and not straying from it.”
SETU
It was a busy day for SETU Carlow yesterday.
Their division 1 footballers feel to TU Dublin on a scoreline of 1-08 to 3-16.

While in the Fresher Hurling League Division 2, the University of Limerick got 28 points to secure the victory.
In Camogie Division 2 League Rd 1 the university got the better of Trinity College
While in soccer SETU Carlow collected a win in their first game of the new Premier Division season by beating TUS Midlands 3-1.
There were also double victories for the rugby firsts and seconds over UL and DKIT.
SETU is out for more GAA action today as they travel to Waterford to face WIT in Division 1 hurling action from seven.
Whereas footballers take on DCU at the same time.

Elsewhere, Liverpool beat West Ham by a goal to nil thanks to a Darwin Nunez effort.
Chelsea were held to a goalless draw away to Brentford.
Gavin Bazunu kept his first clean sheet of the season as Southampton won 1-nil at Bournemouth.
And it’s now six games unbeaten for Newcastle, who beat Everton by a goal to nil at St. James’s Park.
There are two more games in the English top flight tonight.
Aston Villa have won just once in their last eight games ahead of their trip to Fulham.
And Leicester can move off the bottom of the table with just a point from their meeting with Leeds.
Snooker
Ken Doherty is doing the rounds lately.
He was in Carlow last Wednesday night and he is set to hit Kilkenny today.
