Sean O’Brien says he expects to be back playing competitively in the next two months.
The Tullow man, who has yet to play for London Irish, spoke to KCLR Saturday scoreline about his regime leading up to his anticipated return to rugby after a long layoff with a hip injury.
He said “I’m probably about eight weeks away from actually playing, so if everything goes according to plan in that 8 or 9 weeks I suppose it gives you lots of confidence and gees you up a bit”.
“The next three weeks or so, three to four weeks, i’ll be back doing what I love hopefully, running around the field, I know I’ve targets and stuff to hit before I can get back to competitive action but even training in a months time will excite me”.
