Former Dublin Senior Hurling manager Humphrey Kelleher says that Kilkenny will always shine through when the chips are down.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s clash between Dublin and Kilkenny, Humphrey says Kilkenny have a belief to never give up.

“When you look at Colin Fennelly and TJ Reid and Richie Hogan, they are three of the best hurlers in the country – and they still have those”, says Humphrey.

“Their backs have been changed around. I think when the chips are down, Kilkenny will always shine through.”

“They have just that steeliness about them, they have that belief that they are never going to be out of it and obviously next Sunday is going to be a huge test for the Dublin lads.”

We’ll have live coverage of Kilkenny and Dublin this Sunday from 3pm at Parnell Park, Dublin, with thanks to Countrystyle Foods, Granagh, Kilmacow Co. Kilkenny – “As local as it gets”.
