Kilkenny Athletics PRO Perri Williams says that Sophie Becker will double up in the 200 and 400 metres in the European Under-23 Athletics Championship in Sweden which begin on Thursday.
Speaking to KCLR, Perri says it was big news for the Irish Squad that the Glenmore native was called up.
“Also this week, we heard that Sophie Becker was announced for the Under-23s for Sweden so that’s big news for the Under-23s, Sophie Becker of St. Josephs AC and she will be going in the 200 and the 400 in Sweden”
