Looking ahead to the semi-final, Jack Kavanagh, Man of the Match in St. Mullins quarter-final 1-19 to 1-17 win over Ferns St. Aidan’s, said his club relishes the tag of the underdogs;
“We know the calibre of player they have, they are used to Croke Park, we are not as used to it.”
“It is going to be a huge challenge, we are going to embrace it and meet it head first. We are very confident, and we believe in what we are doing. It is good to have the underdog tag, it suits us, and we will take it on.”
That game will be brought to you at 3.15 on Sunday with thanks to Teach Dolmain.
