St. Andrews footballer Brian Murphy says they will relax for a few days after a long year before turning their attention to the challenge of playing the Louth Intermediate Champions in their Leinster Championship clash.

Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s County Final victory, Brian says that Football and Hurling within the club is the up…..

“Absolutely, look I mean, it’s great, it’s been really good”

“I mean Erins Own in fairness, I want to just mention them, they got the Semi-Final, were really really unlucky, I mean they could very easily be here today(on Sunday) as well so the Hurling and Football I think is on the up”

“Next week we are playing the Louth Champions. We don’t know what they are going to be like to be frank, we will have to go and see”

“It’s been a long year since we started training the beginning of February, so I think lads are going to enjoy the next couple of days and just relax”
