St. Mullins Senior Hurling manager Willie Coogan says the matches in the Round Robin Championship will be about learning more about themselves.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of tonights(Friday) clash against Ballinkillen, Willie says teams will make changes during the three rounds of matches played.
“It’s debatable what people will learn whether teams are going to stay lining out the exact same way every day they go out.
“We will probably learn a bit more about our lads as we go through the games, and I assume all the other managers will do the same.
“They are probably learning more about their own team as opposed to learning about anyone else’s team really like.
“I assume people will be trying out different combinations as the games go ahead and try to get a settled format that they feel is working best for their bunch of players.
“It’s more like what you are going to learn yourself than what you are going to learn about somebody else,” he said.
