Storm Dennis blows local soccer fixtures aside for the weekend

With weather warnings for Storm Dennis in place, local soccer fixtures have fallen foul again this weekend.

All local KDL games this weekend postponed due to the bad weather.

Most, but not all, of fixtures in Kilkenny have been scrapped. Domestic league fixtures where schoolboy and junior sides are concerned will not be taking place.

Cup fixtures for Thomastown, Freebooters and Evergreen’s U12 and U13 sides are still set to be played at time of writing.

Carlow & District League have also taken the decision to postpone all of this weekend’s fixtures including all youth games for thisSaturday and all games on Sunday.

The Carlow and district league have postponed all this weekends fixtures that’s all youths games for Saturday 15th feb and all games Sunday for health and safety reasons due to several weather warnings for rain and wind.
