It’s a busy weekend of action across Carlow and Kilkenny this weekend with three finals being brought to listeners live on KCLR.
First up on Saturday is the meeting of Mount Leinster Rangers and Naomh Eoin in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Carlow Intermediate Hurling Championship final.
Rangers defeated St Mullins by a single point in an enthralling semi-final, while Naomh Eoin eventually overcame the challenge of Bagenalstown Gaels on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-08.

That game throws in at 6pm in Netwatch Cullen Park with Robbie Dowling and Terence Kelly on commentary duty.
There is a blockbuster Sunday in store on the local front with the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Carlow Senior Hurling Championship and Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship both reaching their conclusions.
At 4pm on our Carlow frequency, Bagenalstown Gaels will be hoping that they can back up their surprise semi-final defeat of Mount Leinster Rangers when they take on St Mullins in the much-anticipated decider.

Meanwhile, Kilkenny fans can tune in from 4.15pm to find out if Brian Dowling’s side can defeat Cork in the All-Ireland final.

Martin Quilty and Aine Fahey will be in Croke Park as we find out who will be crowned All-Ireland champions.
