It’s all go on the soccer front in Carlow this week.

With the Douglas Jewellers Carlow Cup in full swing, the draw details have been confirmed for this year’s quarter-finals. As a reminder, here’s how this past weekend’s results played out.

  • St. Patricks Boys B 1-3 Ballymurphy Celtic
  • Burrin Celtic 1-1 Dolmen Celtic (Burrin Celtic win 4-3 after pens)
  • St. Patrick’s Boys A 1-2 Parkville United
  • Vale Wanderers A 3-0 Round Tower Rovers
  • Kilree Celtic 5-0 Killeshin FC A
  • Crettyard United A 10-1 Vale Wanderers B
  • Crettyard United B 3-2 St. Fiacc’s
  • Hanover Harps 1-3 New Oak Boys A

Those results mean the quarter-final fixtures look like this

  • Parkville United v Ballymurphy Celtic
  • Vale Wanderers A v Kilree Celtic
  • Crettyard United A v Crettyard United B
  • New Oak Boys A v Burrin Celtic

Fixture dates and kick-off times to be confirmed.

KCLR Carlow Shield Final this week

Cup action continues in Carlow this week as well with the final of the KCLR Carlow Shield taking place on Thursday night.

All roads lead to Meadowlands for Crettyard and New Oak Boys with kick-off set for 7.30pm Entry is €5 on the night with under 16s free.
