Thomastown United manager Davy Foley says the next few weeks will make or break their season.
Thomastown are involved in three separate local competitions in the coming weeks and speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Pat Maher Shield Final against Highview Athletic, Davy says that there is huge incentive to win Sunday’s Final.
He said “You have the Shield Final this Sunday and then you have whenever the Cup will be and then you have every League game after that, they all count at this stage”.
“In the League we can’t afford anymore setbacks, we have to keep winning and hopefully other teams have to play each other and it will keep us in the hunt, but all we can do is focus on ourselves and keep doing our thing, and this Sunday we are concentrating on the Shield because it’s the first silverware of the season”.
He said “There is the Shield, the Cup and the League, this is the first one so you would like to get one under your belt and go from there”.
