The Electric Ireland GAA Minor Hurling Team of the Year for 2020 has been announced.

Kilkenny, finishing as Leinster champions, ultimately fell to a strong Galway side 1-17 to 1-14 in the All-Ireland final at O’Moore Park on 10 July this year, the 2020 competition having adopted a different format and route due to Covid-19 restrictions.

While Galway dominate the team selection, Kilkenny find themselves with three from fifteen with Thomastown’s Zach Bay Hammond, Dunnamaggin’s Joe Fitzpatrick and Galmoy’s Billy Drennan all named to the Team of the Year for 2020.
