It will be an all Kilkenny Leinster Senior Schools Hurling Final after Kilkenny CBS and St Kierans overcame their respective semi finals on Saturday.

CBS defeated Mountrath by 2-16 to 0-14, while Kierans were victorious over Dublin North 3-11 to 2-7.

Mountrath scored nine points to eight but the goals proved to be the difference at the final whistle.

In the second semi-final, played in Fenagh, holders St Kieran’s College turned around for the second-half with a 0-7 to 0-5 lead to defend and second-half goals from Martin Keoghan, Ed Delaney and Sean Carey secured the win.

The final takes place on Saturday, February 27th.

In Camogie the Loreto senior side have an All Ireland final to look forward too – they were in Derry on Saturday where they had a good win over St Patricks Maghera – They’ll face St Brigids of Loughrea in the final
