A new era begins for the Kilkenny senior hurling team on Sunday.
Derek Lyng takes charge of the side for the first time in their Walsh Cup opener with Offaly in John Locke Park, Callan.
The tie throws-in at 2pm and will be live on KCLR with Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh on commentary duty.
If you plan on heading to a monumental occasion for Kilkenny hurling with the senior team taking to the pitch for the first time without Brian Cody as manager in 25 years, you’ll have to get your tickets beforehand.
Supporters will not be allowed to attend the game if they do not buy their tickets online in advance, but there is free entry for Under 16s with no tickets required for that cohort.
You can buy your tickets here by visiting the Leinster GAA website or the Kilkenny GAA website.
KCLR is the only place where you can hear full live commentaries of all of Kilkenny’s Walsh Cup, Allianz National Hurling League, Leinster championship and All-Ireland series games in 2023.
