Ballyhale Shamrocks and Kilkenny Senior hurler TJ Reid is hoping to take a few weeks off after the defence of their Senior Club All-Ireland title on Sunday.

Speaking to KCLR after the game, TJ says it will all depend on Brian Cody as to whether he want’s him back sooner than he is hoping.

He said “I wasn’t talking to Brian so I haven’t a clue, so I will phone him, I will find out what the plan is but look, obviously it’s a long year, a long year for myself so I am hoping to take a few days and a few weeks but that all depends on Brian and how fit and what physical state I am in, but look I am feeling good, feeling strong so”.
