Carlow’s Tom Daly turns his attention back to Leinster now after his hopes for Rio 2016 ended at the weekend.

Tom was the captain of the Irish 7’s team who were beaten in the quarter finals of the Olympic Qualifiers in Monaco.

He has recently signed his first professional contract with Leinster told KCLR that Leinster are set for a big season…..

“Yeah, it will be great to hopefully get a few games with Sean O’Brien this year now”

“I am sure he is tapping away and I am he will be back fit in no time and it will be great to have him back and then obviously it will be great to play with the likes of Robbie Henshaw who is coming along and Gary Ringrose and lots of the big names in Leinster, Johnny Sexton”

“I think we had a pretty good season overall like we topped the league in the regular season, obviously Europe as well was a big disappointment for us, we kind of came up short there as well, but obviously the team is growing and I think we are set-up for a big season this year now”
